Budget-Friendly Family Recipes from Jane de Graaff and CCSP

Cath_and_Jane.JPG

Earlier this year CCSP's Executive Director Cath Garrett-Jones was lucky enough to team up with food presenter Jane de Graaff to make some videos for parents and carers on budget-friendly shopping, recipes and cooking tips to make your food dollar go further.

Look out for the first video, 'Lunchboxes don’t need to be a battlefield!', which we'll share on 20 January next year on Facebook, just in time to prepare for getting kids back to school.

As Jane says, 'Like any parent, I know the very real struggle of filling a lunchbox. The best advice I ever had came from a nutritionist who said that parents put too much pressure on themselves. There’s a lot for a lunchbox to compete with when kids have exciting things going on. So, just do your best and don’t stress about it.'

Look out for this special video on our Facebook page on 20 January: We'll give you the recipes, Jane will tell us her favourite tips for filling lunchboxes, and we'll ask you to send us in your top tip lunchbox hacks so we can share them with other mums and dads and carers.
