Parent/Family Partnerships with Schools Survey February 2025

We value your thoughts and opinions!

CCSP would like to know how involved/engaged you feel you are in your child's learning, how connected you feel in your child's school, and your thoughts on how schools could enhance family/school partnerships.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to complete our annual survey of parents and carers.

KEY TERMS
The terms PARENT INVOLVEMENT and PARENT ENGAGEMENT describe how parents and families support their children's academic achievement and wellbeing.

Parent INVOLVEMENT usually focuses on school-based activities such as attending events or volunteering in class.

Parent ENGAGEMENT encompasses children's learning at home, at school and in the community, recognising the cultural and social diversity of families and communities.

There is strong evidence linking parent engagement with improvements in academic achievement for children of all ages (https://www.education.gov.au/supporting-family-school-community-partnerships-learning/family-school-partnerships/parent-engagement-learning).
