Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on 10 September announced a national ban on children using social media.

Although there's no details about age restrictions and how it will be enforced, it's generated lots of conversations. No doubt it's a response to the growing body of research that shows some concerning trends regarding children and young people's social media use and declining mental and physical health.
